This scenic walk circumambulates the picturesque Narrabeen Lake. As such, the start and end can be varied. Suggested kick-offs are The Sands Hotel – a focal point for many walks – and the Narrabeen B-Line carpark. Alternatives on the western side include Bilarong Reserve and Jamieson Park.
This is a longer walk along a mixture of bush track, bridges, road and footpath. The path is a regular excursion for walkers, push bike riders and runners. The route is simple depending on whether you turned left or right – keep the lake on the same side all the way!
Numerous black swans can be seen floating on the water and regular visitors can monitor the progress of the current brood of ducks as they grow from newly hatched ducklings to full sized youngsters.
